We invite you to discover this house, haven of peace with a great comfort.
A beautiful wooden terrace overlooks the valley and makes you feel weightless, cradled in lush greenery - deckchairs and hammocks invite you to idleness. Beneath lie the pool regulated by salt, with no chemicals, and the popular French Boules game track aside...
All of this is set on a huge beautiful domain planted with olive trees, guaranteeing isolation, calm and serenity. The real luxury that you came to enjoy here.

The house, with a capacity of 5 people, consists of:

A kitchen equipped with quality equipment with induction hob, oven, microwave, espresso machine, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer.

A lounge with satellite TV, wifi and bluetooth speaker, sofa and a beautiful eating area.

One bedroom with a Queen size bed (160cm, 5'4" wide, splitable)

A wooden terrace partly shaded by a roof extending from the house, with deckchairs, hammocks, large family table and a plancha cooker . The olive trees, parasols and shades will also help you to settle the most comfortably according to your desires.

A pool (with secure access) 6m x 4m (20'x14') salt treated with a side shower, large outdoor cushions and umbrellas.

You will be seized, whatever the season, by a rich palette of colors and varied activities.
Dirt roads and hiking trails nearby, beaches, rivers, canyons, via ferratas, mushroom picking, skiing or snowshoeing are just waiting for you. You may also enjoy the services of our "Wellness" partners (Massage, Yoga, Pilates).

Nature lovers, you will become fully aware of what the words silence and quietness really mean in our still untouched hills, deprived of any sound or visual pollution.

We will be your only neighbors, our house is 100 meters lower.

For those who would like to push the discovery a little further, the Mercantour and the mountains like the Valley of Wonders, Peira Cava, the Turini Pass and its iconic routes of the Monte Carlo Rally, Italy by the mountain passes or by the coast, the hinterland of Nice and a number of pitoresque villages, are very close.

You might also discover a different Cote d'Azur with its backpack rich in traditions, its unusual and out-of-tracks places, those little known beaches, the most beautiful sites of the Côte d'Azur, the emblematic villages, the cities like Nice, Cannes , Monaco with their museums, their best restaurants, their famous beaches. In any case we will share with you our rather deep knowledge of the region and the passion that inspires us to live in a preserved and rich environment.

Access
The house is 10 minutes from the village of l'Escarène by car, at an altitude of 500 meters. To get there, you will have to take a 1.5km concrete track, then a 1.5km dirt track.
Attention, the track is drivable but not recommended for some vehicles too low.
​
Due to the environment, the house is, unfortunately, not fit to people with reduced mobility. Similarly, young children, learning to walk, will need a special attention from parents.
​
In the village of l'Escarène, you will find a grocery store that offers local vegetables, two bakeries, two restaurants, bars and a tobacco shop, a pharmacy, four doctors, a butcher, a post office, a bank with a dispenser and other facilities.
​
At 10 minutes from the village, there is a supermarket (open on Sunday morning), a gas station, a Picard (frozen goods), a wine cellar.
​
​
We recommend you to stock up on the way to the house ... A large freezer is at your disposal!
​
For hygiene reasons we regret not to accept pets.

In high and very high seasons the rentals are only weekly : from Saturday (arrival 16H00) to Saturday next (departure 10H00).
Outside these periods shorter stays are possible and dates flexible. (prices on request).
Booking and payment conditions :
The reservation is confirmed after receipt of a deposit of 30% (Transfer or PayPal) of the total amount of the rental and a copy of the signed contract.
The balance of the rent is to be paid before arrival by bank transfer or PayPal or on the day of arrival by check or cash.
​
A deposit of 500 € is required on the day of arrival by check or cash.
​
ON SALE AT THE GITE :
Eggs, Honey, Olive Oil and Flavored Olives. Homemade dishes on request (Gluten and Vegetarian free). A selection of regional wines.
